Wave Hockey Inc. (Wave Twin Rinks and Wave Sports Centre)
www.wavehockey.caThis organization started off in the sport of Roller Hockey in the City of Burlington in the year 2000 out of a single pad facility. Within a few years just less than 1,000 boys and girls were playing this sport. Wave Roller Hockey (now Wave Hockey) then expanded twice in its short history. First to the Wave Sports Centre with opening a private ice rink facility-one sheet of ice. Amenities included in this are a fully licensed restaurant, indoor golf lounge-driving lanes and three outdoor official size volleyball courts with a cabana bar. This facility is located in the QEW and Appleby Line area. Second expansion was to the Wave Twin Rinks approximately 4 kms away from the first location. Wave Twin Rinks is a one of a kind in Ontario . Located in the Guelph Line and Mainway area, a true Hockey training centre with everything it takes to play the game. Programs offered for kid’s ages 3 and 4 up to Old Timers hockey. Adult Leagues, Youth leagues, Skill development and a location to host tournaments. Two NHL ice Surfaces, Two real ice min pads for shooting and goalie training, a Skating Treadmill, Full size Dry land training centre – Twist Sport Conditioning, therapy clinic and full licesened restaurant which includes catering and banquets, Retail shop and Pro Shop, snack bar and a Rapid Shot Shooting Lane. The entire just mentioned on one site. The current operation is managed by Wave Hockey. more
Burloak Sports Centre

This state of the art indoor training facility has two artificial turf areas that will host indoor adult soccer, youth soccer, lacrosse, football baseball, trade shows and concerts. In addition, the Burloak Sports Centre will be the host to a full size gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, floor hockey, dry land training, banquets and big/small corporate presentations. Further to the above this facility will include a Fitness Centre for Adults and youth, team training, therapy clinic, hair salon and a full licensed restaurant on-site.
